Gloucester: A woman driving a Saab 9000CS was unhurt after she apparently lost control of her steering wheel while driving along Route 128 South shortly before 4 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, according to Massachusetts State Trooper Robby Noonan. "She was unscathed," he said, when she told him she just went right "off the road." The car went off the highway into a wet marshy area at the Don Sudbay car dealership and was lifted out by Tally's wrecker. Trooper Noonan said the angle and positioning of where the woman went off the road was very close to the edge of a guard rail. "An inch more and she'd have been dead," he said, because the edge of the guard rail "would have cut through the car like a knife." He walked her over to the car dealership's showroom to wait for assistance.
