Manchester: About a dozen people convened for a Poet-Tea at the Manchester Public Library on Thursday afternoon to have tea, cookies, cakes and fruit, and share poems. Almost everyone brought at least one poem to share, either their own or by favorite poets. Two people even wrote several poems on the spot, including on paper napkins, to read aloud. Katherine Arthur, right, reads a poem she wrote as Judy Johnson, 10, left, and her father Tim Johnson, center, listen.
