The Roseway, a 137-foot Grand Banks fishing schooner, is hauled onto the dry dock for its annual maintenance Monday at Gloucester Marine Railways on Rocky Neck. The Roseway was built in 1925 by John F. James & Son in Essex. It served as a pilot boat in Boston Harbor from 1941 to 1973 and is now the flagship of the World Ocean School based in Camden, Maine. In about a month, after the ship is thoroughly inspected and repaired, the Roseway will set sail for St. Croix, in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
