Clarinetist Jose Franch-Ballester of Vancouver, Canada, performs Thursday for students at Rockport Elementary School. Franch-Ballester and pianist Michael Brown appeared in the Rockport Schools as part of a three-day residency with Rockport Music. They gave a free concert Thursday evening at the Shaliln Liu Performance Center, featuring the Sonata for Clarinet and Piano by Leonard Bernstein.
