Local Artist Shep Abbott created this 12-foot puppet effigy of Vincent Ferrini for the celebration of the centenary of the late Gloucester poet laureate Vincent Ferrini. Then made and appearance by putting the puppet likeness over his head and shoulders and walking into the celebration on which would have been Ferrini's 100th Birthday, held on Saturday evening June 22nd in an event dubbed a "Poet's Cabaret." held behind the Gloucester Maritime Museum on Harbor Loop.
