Gloucester:George Belezos holds a French medal called Croix du Guerre which he recieved for his service in Europe on Saturday in Boston. It's the French equivilent to the Medal of Honor in the United States. Belezos saw combat in Europe with the 3rd Army and was injured in France in December 1944. Also pictured are, from left, his purple heart, a photo of himself after he was drafted and a book about General Patton under whom he served.
