From left, Aria Johnson, 9, Olivia Martin, 10, and Skye Berry, 10, have fun clipping out pieces of plastic food wrappers to make a collage during an "upcycling" workshop Thursday at the Sawyer Free Library in Gloucester. The workshop, led by Lou Leelyn of the Wendell-based Lou's Upcycles, taught children how to turn non-recyclable food wrappers into a textile for use in the creation of handbags and other items.
