Re-enactors of the Danvers Alarm List Company fire a volley early Monday morning in observance of Patriot's Day at the Village Training Field on Centre Street in Danvers. Members of the original Danvers Alarm gathered at the same site on April 19, 1775 before marching to the Battle of Lexington, where they suffered more casualties than any other town except Lexington itself: 7 dead, 2 wounded and 1 captured.
