Water is poured onto the foot of a parishioner -- one of 12 men who symbolized the 12 disciples of Jesus -- during the Liturgy of the Lord's Supper on Thursday evening at Our Lady of Good Voyage Catholic Church in Gloucester. Father Eugene Alves washed the feet of the 12 men during the traditional Maundy Thursday liturgy, in commemoration of the Gospel story of Jesus washing the feet of his disciples at the Last Supper.
