Swiss film and television star Patrick Rapold holds still while having makeup applied to his face Monday during location filming of "Forget Me Not," a German TV movie being filmed this week in downtown Rockport. The film is the third of four being shot around Cape Ann this summer for the German network ZDF. Although not a mini-series, each separate film is based on the work of British romance novelist Katie Fforde. The films star German actress Henriette Richter-Rohl as (according to sources on the set) a strong young woman who overcomes obstacles to find love. In the scenes filmed Monday, Richter-Rohl and Rapold hopped on a motorbike and rode off down South and Main Streets. Director John Delbridge and his crew have been filming both exterior and interior shots this week at the historic 1798 John Oake house at 29 South Street, a private residence, which had been furnished to look like the home and office of the Richter-Rohl character's father, a small-town doctor. Filming at that location is expected to wrap up Wednesday, but production will continue in the area until October 1, when filming for the fourth movie is scheduled to be completed.
