MARIA UMINSKI/Gloucester Daily Times. A work crew removed contaminated soil from Newell Stadium which will be getting a new FieldTurf artificial surface in time for the 2013 football season. This season the team will play its home games at Manchester-Essex. The Newell Stadium Building Committee this week selected a low bidder for the contract, which requires work to begin by September and be completed by next June.
