Allegra Boverman/Gloucester Daily Times. In 1973, guitarist Bob Davis took to the stage with his band Ashbury Tyne at the first free outdoor concert at Harbor Loop where listeners sat on the lawn of the Fitz Henry Lane house to enjoy the music and the view of the inner habor. Tonight Davis takes the stage 40 years later with his rock trio "Johnny Carwash." The free outdoor shows start at 6:30 p.m. at Fitz Henry Lane Park off Harbor Loop in Gloucester. Davis shows pages from his scrapbook from that time. Davis commended the concert series founder Morgan Huke for his continuing efforts to bring rock and roll concerts to the city.
