Studying Nature

Jordan Mackey, left, and Brayden Francis of Julie McGovern's second grade class study trees behind Beeman Elementary School as part of a nature study program organized and supervised by the Gloucester-based Kestrel Educational Adventures. The students have "adopted" various trees behind the school, and have been taking notes periodically on the changes that take place in nature through the seasons, and through each day.
