St. Lucia's Day in Rockport

Suzanne Keyes, a Gloucester native living in Ipswich, leads the St. Lucia's Day procession Saturday through Spiran Hall in Rockport. A festival of lights clebrated every Dec. 13 in Scandinavian countries, St. Lucia's Day honors one of the earliest Christian martyrs and kicks off the Christmas season. The Nordic celebration, hosted by the Vasa lodge, was part of the annual "Seaside Village" festivities in downtown Rockport.
