GLOUCESTER DAILY TIMES POY 2014: PHOTOGRAPHER'S TAKE: Sports is my favorite to photograph (baseball_not so much!) Baseball I find is to slow for me,where you have to wait for a play to happen. There are the predictables,like the pitchers delivery, a ground ball, steeling second base,the play at home plate, which you see all the time on sports pages evrywhere. It's very difficult to capture a great action shot. Knowing the game does help. During this game between Gloucester and Beverly, Ipswich's Sean Whooley takes a glove and ball to the face from Rockport's third basemen Conor Kuykendall, as he trys to slide into thrid Saturday morning at Mile Lane Park in Ipswich.
