Rockport: Susan Morris and Carole Findley hand out raisins and candy to be put in baskets that delivered to elderly shut ins on Christmas morning. Approximately 50 members and friends of the Rockport Christmas Tree Committee gathered at Spiran Hall Tuesday night to help prepare for the event, which is funded through donations. The volunteers also prepared over 500 bags for Santa to hand out to children at Dock Square on Christmas morning. Donations may be mailed to the Rockport Christmas Tree Committee, c/o/ Doreen Carter, 2 Mary Helen Way, Rockport, MA 01966, or dropped off at any Rockport National Bank location or Smith Lumber and Hardware.
