Mayor Carolyn Kirk, right, meets with a group of German language students from Gloucester High School in her office Thursday morning. The students, under the direction of teacher Anne Paganetti, are members of the PASH (which means "Schools: Partners for the Future") program which was launched by the German government and the Goethe Institute, among others, to promote German language study. Talking with the mayor are, clockwise from foreground center: Kelly Hurd, Jessome Goodick, Meghan Orlando, Hannah Richards (standing), Everest Crawford, Natalie Franke-Otten, Heidi Franke-Otten and Andrew Grammas. Also visiting, but not pictured, were Ryan Cilluffo and Len Pallazola.
