A shrine to St. Peter with oars commemorating the fishing boats that once plied the waters off Gloucester is on display Monday evening on the first night of the annual St. Peter's Fiesta Novena at the Lester Wass American Legion Hall in Gloucester. The statue of St. Peter, which is carried through the streets during Fiesta, was commissioned in 1927 by Salvatore Favazza.
