Eighth grader Ben Quade, left, and seventh grader Evan Litka work together to examine a human hair through a microscope while taking part in a "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" program Wednesday at the Manchester Public Library. The program, for children in grade six and above, was timed to coincide with a half day of school at Manchester Essex Public Schools. Kids learned how to study fingerprints, how to extract DNA from an apple, and how to identify certain types of bones.
