Lucas Bazydola, 12, of Belmont, a student of the Woburn-based Boston Rock Gym, climbs past the historic marker on Tablet Rock at Stage Fort Park in Gloucester. The bronze tablet, attached to the granite face of the rock in 1907, commemorates the 1623 founding on that site of the Massachusetts Bay Colony.
