Essex: Summer Burroughs and Liam Hemeon push baby carrots through a carrot screw which shaves the carrot to make it look like a screw in Andrew Burnett's third grade classroom Wednesday afternoon. The carrot screw station was just one of the fun science activities Johnny Juniper of High Touch High Tech of Boston had set up in the classroom for the kids to do. They also made levels and were shown how to make a tornado using two soda bottles and some colored water. Mary Muckenhoupt/Gloucester Daily Times
