The first in a line of four, huge flat-bed trucks take a left onto Railroad Avenue on Thursday morning on their way to Granite Pier. The J.F. Price Company is hauling 4- to 6-ton armor stone to the pier for SumCo Eco-Contracting Inc., which was contracted to make repairs to the Granite Pier revetment from damages sustained in the January 2015 blizzard. Rockport contracted with J.F. Price to supply, deliver and install 700 cubic yards of armor stone from Weymouth, according to Rockport Assistant Director of Public Works Tim Olson.
