Carli Heckman and Emily Kenyon, both O'Maley Middle School students, test their remote-operated vehicles, or ROVs, which are submersible, that they built at Maritime Gloucester on Thursday afternoon. They are among 40 students are taking part in the two-week long Summer Engineering Adventure, which is a partnership of Maritime Gloucester, MIT's Edgerton Center, and O'Maley Middle School and the Gloucester Education Foundation. The students rotate between projects in Gloucester at Maritime Gloucester and on the Cambridge campus.
