ALLEGRA BOVERMAN/Staff photo. Gloucester Daily Times. Gloucester: The Gloucester Community Arts Charter School now has a fancy "art car" parked in the main lobby. It was a prop from a 2007 production of "Crazy for You" by the North Shore Music Theater and is a 16-foot long wood replica of a Rolls Royce. The roof is reinforced so it can be danced upon and five adults can fit inside it. The car has been gussied up by Charter School students and they can read, write, draw, act, play and hang out in it. Gordon Baird, on the board of trustees of the school, donated it to the school. Hanging out in it on Thursday are, in front, fourth graders Lillie Favazza, back, and Maddy Currier, and at right, fifth grader Emma Killian.
