Allegra Boverman/Gloucester Daily Times. East Gloucester third graders learned how to churn butter during a visit to the school by the Wenham Museum. Members of the musuem helped the students experience what home life was like in Colonial Massachusetts with hands-on experiences like grinding spices, making butter, and learning about a family's daily household chores using colonial reproduction household tools.
