Sophomore Julia Bonnacorso leans back to examine her workmanship after cutting the beard and hair of middle school physical education teacher Thomas Durfee during an all-school assembly Friday at Manchester Essex Regional High School and Middle School in Manchester. Durfee was one of three faculty members who allowed winners of a raffle to cut their beards any way they wanted. Durfee went a step further and allowed his hair to be cut also.
