Manchester: Dorothy Ganick of Manchester, a pediatrician in Lynnfield and a hematology oncology specialist, read stories to children during the story hour at Manchester Public Library on Tuesday afternoon. She read "Biscuit Visits the Doctor," "ABC Doctor," and "Doctor Maisy." She also answered questions from the children and showed them a few of her instruments including a stethoscope, otoscope and reflex hammer. The children made their own little doctor's bags afterwards. Sveta Piasecki, 4, gets her reflexes tested for fun by Ganick.
