Manchester:Manchester high student Shawna Allen works on her project as artist Yary Levin works with fellow student Amanda Gilson in Tamera Burns ceramics class at Manchester high Wednesday. The students are crafting fiqurines of the elephant headed Hindu God Ganesh. Yary is a native of Cambodia, now living in Lowell , he is a survivor Khmer Rouge genoside being spared due to his knowledge of kiln building, essential for making clay roof tiles. He is working with all high school ceramic students in addition to all seventh grade students for two weeks.
