Manchester: Students at the Brookwood School launch boats at the 21st annual Recess Regatta in the Pip Cutler Pond in front of the school Wednesday afternoon. Students in fourth grade through eighth grade participate in the Regatta. Fourth grade is the year the children take Sloyd, a wood working class, and produce the boats, so the fourth graders are all in it. Children in grades 5 through 8 are all welcome to bring in and race the boats they made when they were in fourth grade. Winner were, first place fifth grader William Baum, second place seventh grader Patrick Daly, third place Hunter Zonnenberg, forth grader Chris Friend and fifth place tie beteween forth graders Cara Goudie and Simon Peterson.
