Manchester: West Parish Elementary School fifth graders from Gloucester visited the Manchester Athletic Club on Tuesday to participate in a free enrichment program the center provides to the public about nutrition and sports. Students learned about eating more healthy foods and snacks, then played team-building games and drills that also can be played solo, so the kids can keep moving even when they're by themselves. The self-named Team Tebow confers with MAC trainer George Abele during the activities. The program has been in place for about six years and several area elementary and middle schools participate including Beeman Elementary, Plum Cove Elementary, St. Ann's and O'Maley Middle School, all of Gloucester.
