Allegra Boverman/Glouceester Daily Times. Students at Plum Cove Elementary School rehearse their upcoming original musical "American Tall Tales," written and directed by teacher Diane Quigley. The performances will be on Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m. with a daytime performance on Friday at 1:15 p.m. for the school. Tickets are $4 and children age 4 and under are admitted free. "American Tall Tales" recounts the various American folk tales, from the story of Johnny Appleseed to Pecos Bill and Paul Bunyan. Matthew Green-Burke, right, portrays Paul Bunyan, with Babe, the blue ox, portrayed by Connor Vittands.
