100-Mile Club

Students at Veterans Memorial Elementary School run around the baseball field behind the school on Friday while taking part in the 100-Mile Club, a fitness program at Veterans organized in collaboration with Tufts University. The students set goals and keep track of their miles. The idea is to encourage as many students as possible to walk or run 100 miles by the end of the school year. Many students at Veterans are approaching the 100-mile mark.
