After first removing residue that had built up over decades, art restoration specialist Steve Roy uses a brush to apply a chemical coating to bring back the patina of Frederick Bagshaw's 1924 bas relief sculpture of the U.S.S. Gloucester on the Spanish War Monument at the intersection of Prospect and Pleasant streets in Gloucester.
