Rockport: Marianne Hawkins of Rockport tries to feed her dog, Peanut, a doggie treat after he was blessed by Rev. Karin E. Wade of St. Mary's Episcopal Church during the the annual blessing of the animals at Millbrook Meadow Sunday afternoon. To celebrate the feast of St. Francise many pet owners came to have their pets, stuffed animals and pets who have past away blessed. The animlas were mostly dogs but also included one cat and one hamster with one eye belonging to Hawkin's daughter Rachael, 7. Mary Muckenhoupt/Gloucester Daily Times
