Niki Bogin, manager of the Gloucester Farmers Market, and Emma Duckworth, 10, carry flowers Thursday on the last market day of the season at Stage Fort Park in Gloucester. Bogin said this year, the seventh for the market, saw noticably more traffic from people from outside the immediate area. "It was a great season," Bogin said, "More people, more vendors, more customers and more enthusiasm. People are really thinking of this as a place to go on Thursdays, not only to shop but to meet with friends." The market will reopen next June. In the meantime there will be periodic indoor markets, beginning with the Thanksgiving Harvest Market November 23 at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Gloucester.
