Daguerreotype Donated

Moses B. Russell's c. 1846 oil painting of The Wonson Twins, on display in the Cape Ann Museum, shows William Newman Sawyer Wonson, left, and Samuel Giles Wonson IV when they were about three years old. Future visitors of the museum will get a deeper perspective on the painting with the donation this month by Samuel Giles' grandson Roger Choate Wonson of a Daguerreotype of the twins when they were a few years older, along with their younger sister Ellen.
