Rockport: Sean Whelan stares down at the brand new bike that he got for his 9th birthday, which is Saturday, as his father, Bob Whelan, helps his sister, Shannon, 5, with her bike helmet while riding along Front Beach yesterday afternoon. The pedals on Sean's bike broke and the rest of the family rode home to get the car so they could bring the bike back to the store. Sean said the bike was "great while it worked."
