Jim McCloy of Rockport is visited by Wizard, a husky owned by Dick Rollans of Gloucester, as he waits while his own dog plays Wednesday at the Gloucester Dog Park in Stage Fort Park. The new dog park was opened in May on land granted by the city and maintained by a group of dog owners. There are three fenced-off areas at the park: one for large dogs, another for small dogs, and a third for dogs who, unlike Wizard, aren't very social.
