Dog Days at Camp Spindrift

Fury, a dog belonging to Ruth Witkes of Lynn, looks out over the swimming pool at the Cape Ann YMCA's Camp Spindrift in Gloucester. For the second year in a row, the YMCA is opening the Spindrift pool to dogs, now that the campers have all returned to school. On the day of Fury's visit, the pool was in the process of being refilled. The "Dog Day Afternoons" began last week and will continue this week, every day through Friday, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. {Sept. 20, 2017}
