Read MoreALLEGRA BOVERMAN/Gloucester Daily Times. Lanesville artist Camilla MacFadyen held a two-day workshop at Maritime Gloucester about collograph printmaking. Students collected seaweed at the pier in back of the museum, made plates by gluing the seaweed to cardboard pieces, like the one shown here, and being worked on by participant Lindsay Greimann, and applied fabric paint to the three-dimensional surface to print onto dozens of yards of silk chiffon and organza to make a collaborative art installation piece for the museum. The museum also provided fish to create prints from onto fabric and stuffed fish were sewed to swim in the silky virtual aquarium of seaweed images. A "Stock the Tank" party that highlighted the group art piece was held on August 18, and the installation will be on view for the rest of the month at Maritime Gloucester.
